RosaryBase Exporter — Chrome Extension User Guide

This guide explains how to install and use the RosaryBase Exporter Chrome extension, which exports the full product catalog from rosarybase.com to an Excel file with embedded images — designed for trading companies and cross-border sellers.

What is RosaryBase Exporter?

RosaryBase Exporter is a Chrome browser extension designed for buyers on rosarybase.com. It automatically scrapes all product information and exports the following data to an Excel file with one click:

The .xlsx file is generated entirely within your browser — no data is sent to any external server.

Step 1: Install the Extension

⚠️ Note: This extension is currently an internal tool that requires manual loading via Developer Mode. It is not available on the Chrome Web Store.

2Open Chrome and go to: chrome://extensions/

3Enable Developer mode toggle (top-right corner)

4Click Load unpacked (top-left)

5Select the rosarybase-exporter folder you downloaded

6Once installed, the 🧿 icon will appear in your Chrome toolbar

Step 2: Configure Settings

Click the 🧿 icon in your toolbar to open the extension. Configure the settings as follows:

⚙️ Basic Settings

Delay (ms)	Wait time between product pages	`1500` (increase to `3000` if slow network)
Max pages	Max pages to scrape, 0 = unlimited	`0` (export all)

📂 Select Categories

The extension automatically loads all product categories from the website. Each category has a checkbox.

Select All: Export products from all categories
Want only specific categories? Uncheck "Select All" and tick only the ones you need

📊 Select Columns

Click on each field tag to toggle whether it's included in the export. Gold highlight = selected.

💰 Price Formula (Optional)

If you need to adjust the original price, enter a formula in the Price Formula field:

`*1.1`	Multiply by 1.1 (+10%)	$5.00 → $5.50

💡 Leave empty = keep original price

Step 3: Start Export

1After configuring settings, click ▶ Start Export

2The extension will automatically open and close product pages in the background

3The progress bar and counters update in real time:

4You can close the popup during export — scraping continues in the background. Reopen the popup to check progress.

Step 4: Download Excel

Once scraping is complete (status bar shows Done!):

1Click the 📥 Download Excel (images embedded) button

2The extension downloads all product images and embeds them into Excel

3After download completes, the Excel file is automatically saved to your Downloads folder with the filename format:
rosarybase-products-2024-01-15.xlsx

Important Notes

About Images

The current version exports the product's main image (the cover image shown in the product list). SKU variant images are not included in this version. Each product has one main image, embedded directly into Excel cells — no extra download needed.

About Speed

Quantity	Estimated Time
~100 products	About 2–3 minutes
~500 products	About 15–20 minutes

Each product page requires the configured Delay time (default 1.5 seconds). Keep your computer awake during the export.

About Login

We recommend using the extension while logged in to rosarybase.com to ensure complete price data is displayed.

FAQ

Q: Price or SKU shows empty

A: Please confirm you are logged in. If still empty, try increasing Delay to 3000ms.

Q: Many "Tab load timeout" errors

A: Network latency is high. Increase the Delay setting to 3000ms or more.

Q: Excel file won't open

A: Try renaming the file extension to .xlsx and opening with Excel or WPS Office.

Q: Why are some products duplicated?

A: A product may belong to multiple categories, so duplicates are normal. Use Excel's "Remove Duplicates" feature to clean the data.

Q: Can I close the browser during scraping?

A: No. The browser window must stay open (can be minimized), but closing the browser will stop the task.
